The 6 track EP ‘Lost Animals’ as released on the 17th February 2023. Reflecting on how ‘Lost Animals’ came about, Jenny says, “Lost Animals is the product of my writings over the past year and a half and narrates much about my life and the circumstances I live with and in. It explores the topics of society, war, love and personal battles. After the success of my debut album 'Something Beautiful', I found myself exploring my style as a songwriter. In many ways 'Lost Animals' describes how as humans, we can feel lost, we aren't always in control of our path and our journeys can be led by our heart, luck and our environment. The message is that although this is the case, this is exciting and we shouldn't be scared. We should be ready to embrace what is around the corner. This relates personally to me in both my musical life and personal life. The EP marks a new sound for me. While still staying true to my roots as a singer-songwriter, the EP is eclectic in its adventure into new instruments and was written with many more instruments in mind. I feel the best way to describe how it sounds would be like a motion picture built around the essential elements of Folk, Americana and Rock.”

Something Beautiful takes the listener a sonic journey, making stops along the way at various genres including Pop, Rock, Folk and Americana. The common thread throughout the album is undoubtedly the powerful yet soothing vocal that takes the forefront in captivating the listener throughout each individual song. Lyrically the album almost a snapshot of storytellers notebook looking deeply at the themes of addiction, love, feminism and personal triumphs and aspirations. On listening to album, each listener will be able to relate on some level to the stories told.
