Lyrics

Rosanna we’ll talk through the night and make friends.
And I’ll be your shoulder to lean on me when,
I’ll hold you tightly ‘til your story ends.
And I’ll say that I was Rosanna’s friend.

She’s walking around, trying to find,
A place where she can go.
Her Father’s table, her Mother’s cradle,
Both shaped perfectly round.

Hair like fire, eyes sapphire,
An angel to be found.

Rosanna we’ll talk through the night and make friends.
And I’ll be your shoulder to lean on me when,
I’ll hold you tightly ‘til your story ends.
And I’ll say that I was Rosanna’s friend.

Eighteen years old, a story untold,
A smile that lights a room.
She’s sitting able, at his table,
Playing folk tunes.

Hair like fire, eyes sapphire,
Her party will be soon.

Rosanna we’ll talk through the night and make friends.
And I’ll be your shoulder to lean on me when,
I’ll hold you tightly ‘til your story ends.
And I’ll say that I was Rosanna’s friend.
